Old & New

Today we decided to go to the Wing On store in Central, to look at sheets. As we were walking by the Ferry Pier, we saw one of the big Maccau Ferries leaving. Right in front came this small boat. I have no idea what it is or what it is doing, but it is a nice contrast with the big modern boat.

Since this blog is all about the travels of a grey cat, I thought I better post a picture of a grey cat! Here is Suzie sleeping on the window seat. You can see the street below and a bus just pulling out from the stop.

Here at Last

I just want to let everyone know that I have arrived safe and sound in Hong Kong. I was very happy to see Ding and snuggle Suzie. She didn't seem care though and ran right by me when I got in the door. Cats! Now I just need to get over the jet lag. I will see if I  can make it until 9 o'clock tonight, but I am not hopeful. I didn't do much today except unpack my two huge bags. Ding and I decided to help keep me awake I needed to get out for a bit so we took a run to Tung Chung, had an early dinner and picked up a few groceries. It is a beautiful day today with a high of about 27 degrees. It wont last though, the next few days are supposed to be in the upper teens. Still...No Snow!

Closed

The sale of the house was finalized today. I expected to feel more than I did today but I really only had a brief moment of sadness. I think I got it all out of me over the past few days. I am so grateful to my wonderful family and friends. I could not have done it without you! I had an email from the new owners asking if we had the house professionally cleaned!

The Squeeze Has Arrived

Our little kitty Suzie Squeeze arrived in Hong Kong today safe and sound. After spending the better part of 24 hours in a carrier with no access to a litter box, she didn't smell so good. Mr. D. found out the hard way that cats really don't like to have showers! It is a good thing that kitties are self cleaning and it apparently is her #1 priority. She showed no interest in food or litter box and is busy getting her fur back in order. I will be happy to see her when I arrive in a couple of days!
