Singapore

To some Singapore is a cosmopolitan city, to others a cultural kaleidoscope and to some it is just one big shopping mall. To me it is all of that and more. I have been there many times, yet always there is something different. I still find places I have never seen and glimmers of it's vibrant past. Thain Hock Keng temple used to be on the waterfront, but now it is surrounded by the business district. Despite the hustle and bustle nearby it is still quiet and serene. Clark Quay is still about food and socializing, but I haven't seen these "umbrellas" and the fountain before. Of course there is always shopping.
But what Singapore really is about is family and friends. Good times.
